Nick did go up on his prices. I ordered the whole CAI system, including the power wire. I place my order just after July 4th and it is suppose to arrive today (09/07). As soon as I get it installed, I'll post some pix.

yep I agree bad choice...anybody priced an O2 sensor yet...sure enough seems to me if it "tricks" your computer to run richer its going to eventually foul up the O2 sensor and cause problems, by the way notice that most of the performance is only at "wide open throttle"

thats true with just about any mods you put on your truck is that they only produce significant gains at wide open throttle.

ive talked with the guy who designs these (airram) before and i dont think he gets on here much any more but he is one guy who knows what hes talking about, esspecially with the 4.7 engines. he has a 4.7 that will smoke 90 percent of the hemis on this forum. im not sure but i believe that when i asked him about it when i was considering getting one (only reason i dont have it is because im saving my money to get a new truck or possibly a challenger instead) he said that if your not satisfied then you can return for a refund.

First of all It DOES NOT make you run Rich at all.... id does add approximately 2% more fuel at WOT but thats not enough to cause any issues what so ever.

Under normal driving it will not and can not add fuel because your O2 sensors keep your Air Fuel Ratio nailed to 14.75:1 period nothing you can do about it. So under normal driving you only get the timing advance. Its the advance we are after not the additional fuel.

Now at WOT the PCM no longer looks to the O2 sensors for input and with the PW installed you will get approximately 2% more fuel ... At WOT only. This is actually a good thing if your trying to make more HP... and NO the power wire will NOT cause any issues with your O2 sensors... and the PCM will NEVER know its there... It works as advertised and will alter the signal to your PCM to make it think the actual intake air temps are 20 degrees cooler at all times... no matter what the intake air temps are your PCM will think the air is 20 degrees cooler than those actual temps.

We have GREAT feedback on the PW, many people see 1-1.5MPG increase after installing the PW... Its not a scam as its one of our top sellers.

I hope I was able to answer your questions.... if you have any additional questions please feel free to contact me.

Yeah your right and if you can keep your foot out of it you will gain approximately 1-1.5MPG..... you can chalk that up with "PERFORMANCE" also because the reason you are gaining 1MPG is because your making more HP at a lower RPM. Thats all thanks to the timing advance the Power Wire gives.

This mod is the equivlent of turning the distributor on an older v-8 engine... you advance the timing 3-4 degrees to make more HP. The thing is because our trucks are all 100% computer controled we are unable to turn the distributor to advance the timing... so we have to trick the computer into doing it for us... and honestly this is MORE accurate than turning the distributor as we had done int he past.

You could also say that the POWER WIRE is the equivlent to relocating your Air Temp Sensor to a location thats 20 degrees cooler... Many people relocate their IAT sensor to a cooler location... but at best they get a 5-10 degree diffence in temps... and most of them say they feel a gain for relocating the sensor. The POWER WIRE is NOT N2O but it is a proven mod that will give you 8-10RWHP.

I have had ONE return out of nearly 1500 PW's.... Not too bad if you ask me. If your NOT satisfied we will accept a return as long as you contact us within a reasonable amount of time after you receive it... Im not worried, the Power Wire is a PROVEN mod!

It seems like it does the job, but I talked to a few shops and they say its gonna soot your pipes pretty bad cause of the mixture. I think a programmer would still be the way to go.
The Power Wire will NOT soot your pipe at all... The mods that do that are the ones that use a resistor to JUMP the IAT plug and completely remove the sensor from the circut. The POWER WIRE is IN-LINE with your harness and KEEPS the AIR TEMP SENSOR which allows a variable in the temps... the FIXED "EBAY CHIP" is NOT the same at all... those will cause issues and the SOOT to the pipes as they can make you run extreamly RICH in the HEAT and extreamly lean in the cold... both are NEVER good for performance.

Power wire is a good mod. You will notice a differnce in mpg as long as you keep your foot off. Mine went up close to 1 mpg.
