Default Squirrely Rearend

This is the second time I have almost gone sideways on a Freeway doing the speed limit. My 2005 1500 4x4 is sooo loose in the rearend it's scarey. With no weight in the bed this truck is the most bouncy vehicle I have ever owned. Have P265x70x17 original tires. Will letting a little air out when empty help? Will putting new LT tires on with more rigid sidewalls help. Is there a modification to the rearend that will help. Scares the crap out of me when it goes sideways

Was it icy or did you just go sideways. Ive never gone sideways, even on ice... Kinda strange

I'd like to know the answer to that one too. My 04 does the same thing. Hit two or three consecutive bumps and it starts going sideways.........

My '03 qc 4x4 hops pretty good over bumps and holes. I'm replacing the stock shocks here pretty soon with some Bilstein HD's. I've seen posts that recommend changing the shocks to help cure it a bit. I'm also going to 285/70/17 mud terrain tires pretty soon. Should change everything.

New Shocks will make a huge difference, and more than likely will cure your problem completely.

I would blame it mainly on the Limited Slip. Mine does the same thing on any surface that is even a little slippery, like even in the morning if the road has some dew on it. The stock goodyear tires don't help either. This fall I'm going to get some larger, more aggressive tires, so hopefully the added weight and more aggressive tread will help this... On the other hand, its kinda fun to slide to the side when pulling off the line at a light when you want it to, hahaha.

That spoiler and trick suspension might have something to do with it.
