any one know how much power gets to ground on a stock 5.7? and is thier going to be more or less H/P loss with a automatic or standard? I'm not worried eithier way, just curious...

i dont think theres any difference in at or stick. however the app. hp to the rear wheels on a stock hemi (345) is 280rwh.

After seeing tons of Dyno charts, I agree, most people put down 275-285 RWHP...

That is a very high number for a stock hemi ram. Either you had something on the truck or you have a factory freak.

Dont know what else to tell you man I thought it was high too when I saw it listed on the window sticker at the dealership (actually they listed it at 295) so I had it dyno'd at a highly credible shop Ive taken all my vehicles in to in the past and sure enough it topped out at 290rwhp.

290 hp at the wheels isnt abnormal, I have an 04 4x4 hemi and it dyno'ed 291 stock. Thats about right considering it has 345 to the crank

My guess would be that a truck with 245/70/17 would DYNO higher than one with 20's or larger whell/tire package. Less rotating mass=less Hp loss= higher Hp #s.
