99' model - 360 horsepower and 440 pound-feet of torque.

03' model - 380 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque
0-60mph in 5.2 seconds
Top Speed around 147mph

Either the guy you went up against didn't know you wanted to race or wasn't expecting it and wanted to catch up to you or he could have been just toying with you. In any case the SVT would beat our HEMIs unfortunately, they are just faster.

i have not run against much. one of my co-workers just got a titan, his govener is set higher, can the govener be bypassed easly. i did run against a victory and in a rolling run he cant get away

when i buy my hemi ram in the coming month or two i'm going to save a few dollars up and buy an STS turbo system....417hp to the wheels will destroy a lightning.

You know Ive been lookin at those STS Turbos alot recently and while Im only assuming this but Does Anyone know if adding the turbo to the truck will void any warranties? Like I said Id assume that it would but it be nice to know for sure.....

As I said before, He would have caught me but he was definatley trying to race, there was about 50 ft of black marks from him. Everyone knows that the SVT's dont have very good traction. Add some bolt on parts like headers, exhaust, programmer and the such and the ol Hemi will give them headaches.

Yes , It will void your engine warranty, maybe even your drivetrain warranty as well.

i would look into that, if you have an approved shop do the work it may not void the warrenty
