Need some opinions guys. Putting a cat back on my 06 quad cab hemi. Which seems to be the one to get? I'm leaning toward the Flowmaster since that seems to be what the majority has. If so, I want to make sure I get the right muffler. I want the truck to sound mean, deep and throaty. I"m a little hesitive to get the 50 series muffler that comes with Flowmaster's kit they reccommend fot the truck. I also bought the K&N air charger kit that will get put on when the exhaust gets installed.

Does anyone have the Flowmaster Delta 40 or 50 series and can give me some info about them?

Does it have MDS, if so everything I've read (mainly on this site) says custom exhaust sounds awful when MDS kicks in. Maybe just with duals, i dunno.

 

I'm leaning towards the Gibson Extreme myself, anyone have one of those?

 

I have 2 Super 40s on mine and I absolutely love it. The 50 and the Deltas will all be quieter. The exhaust does not sound "awful" when the MDS kicks in, but you will notice it. If you want a nice deep tone go with the Super 40. Check out the difference in sounds on each muffler. Click where it says "Sound Clip". You can also click on 2 mufflers at a time to see the difference. Good luck on your choice.
