I think it's a sweet truck. It definitely looks better in person than in pictures (and I think it looks pretty nice in pictures). I recently bought a 4x4 QC Night Runner and did exactly what dtharp suggested. I took it home on an overnight test drive so I could have more time to look at it outside the dealership and see what I thought about it in different lighting and the next morning. I personally think the "black chrome" wheels look very nice and complement the truck perfectly.
A ground effect kit would not look right on this truck, at least the 4x4, which has the look of an offroad truck (definitely looks the 4x4 part).
I also like the "factory debadged" doors. Like others have said, if you like it buy it... it's not a big price to pay for the package you are getting; and the black bezeled headlights are sweet!

 

All Dodge 20" wheels are crappy plastic chrome cladded wheels. You could get a black SLT Ram truck and get some real good forged wheels to put on it. Forged wheels will be ALOT lighter and stronger. This ='s more hp to the road.

Just a thought.

 

Which model of the night runner are you getting? I are you going to go with the SLT version with the HEMI or the SRT-10 Version?

 

I have to agree with the people in here. I think if they added the daytona, rumble body or early thunderroad body package it would be sweet, But as is, it just looks like a modified stocker. Blackened headlights can be found on the bay for cheap. As well as black grills and so on. I see nothing so great they way they sell it.


When I bought my stocker, I didnt go crazy and just bought it normal. I then went on the bay and bought all the addons for far less and did it myself. For example those chrome door handles they sell at the dealer are mere abs plastic crap. The ebay ones are stainless steel. The same applies to the gas door covers = plastic crap. Ebay ones are billet and a complete gas door change. Not mere cover.

Yes they do. Go to dodge's web site and under the "build your own" select the srt-10 and under options they have an option for the night runner package. Its an extra grand or two for it though

well i know i can buy a normal ram and do all these things to it but paying only 850 takes my monthly payment up a few bucks.
and i know if i do get a normal one ill get too lazy to do all the things
