Default 2006 power wagon...power programmers

Hello to all, this is my first time posting a thread. So please take it easy on me. I have a 2006 power wagon with the Hemi with about 4000 miles on it. I have added a k&n cold air intake and gibson cat back exhaust. I was wondering if reprograming the computer is worth it or not. I have heard differnt things. Any info would be great. Also if anyone has added a turbo or supercharger, please let know what you think. HP and TRQ # would be great. Thanks to all....Billy

I am also interested in getting more out of my 06 Power Wagon's Hemi.
I have got astonishing results from reprogramming my previous powerstroke diesel. Although with my previous gas engines, the chips I used didn't give much noticeable power gains...at least not worth the money in my opinion.
I also read that Power Wagon has a "special" tune from the factory compared to the other Hemi Rams, so I am doubtful of any results from aftermarket reprogramming.

I am anxious to hear about some real Power Wagon results before I invest in a programmer.

I have an 05 PW with airraid and banks monster exhaust and the flashpaq tuner. I am running the 87 octane program and picked up 2.1 mpg as far as hp and trq no clue. But i have had it at the dealer or work on the lockers and while it was there no one said any thing about it it was even scanned by the techs there. the special program in the pw is that the computer will slow the opening of the throtle body while it is in 4lo so the truck wont jump around like other ones do.

I think I am going to try superchips programmer. if nothing else I can get rid of my speed limiter. i was on the express way and at about 105mph she just stopped going faster. I do not know how fast the truck can really go but it has to be better then 105. i will keep you posted.

I installed the superchips flashpaq in my 06 obout 2 weeks ago, running 91 octane in performance mode it made a huge difference in power not to mention the improved shift points for the tranny( gained 1.5 seconds in the 1/4 mile ), I also raised the speed limiter to 120mph and it has no problem getting up to that speed. you can raise it to 140mph but I haven't tryed it yet, not sure if I will.

make sure your tires can handle 120+ before you go out and blow your tires and kill yourself..

I know this is a highly subjective question, but how loud is the Banks power exhaust? I like to maintain quiet/stealthyness when I play in the woods at 3 a.m. I would like to pick up more mpg, if possible, without a lot more noise.

Thanx, in advance, for input.

Who has the cheapest superchip programmer for sale. I used to get all my parts from autopartswharehouse.com but never again. Any web sites would be great.

Not that I'll ever see it in my truck but I thought it was 140, not 120 MPH.
