i know my hemi has two cats right off the manifold!
ya i am almost 100% sure those are cats off the headers. Cause the hemi has 2 cats and 1 resinator. So im sure your system would work on a hemi if thats the only problem u had. and ya, what would be the cost of one of these systems, id possibly be interested

My '03 Hemi only had 1 cat and 0 resinators.

You guys need to jump on this offer. I know Exhaust Depot makes some great products for SRT-4's. I always wanted an X-pipe for my Hemi...where were you last year!!![:@]

What's up Hector you stud?

I can vouch for this guy, he did a nice setup on my truck. I posted up pics and clips of the after product, but the links are dead i'll have to relocate them. I have a hemi no cats,no mufflers, x-pipe and dumps. I love it

here the orginal link I posted. I haven't had any problems or leaks as of yet. remember the links are dead give me a few days.

For a hemi setup ill have to fabricate my own downpipe with cats in it and sell it like that. I would need to get ahold of another hemi truck to do that though. I dont make headers, takes to long.

Thanks for the feedback guys!

Hector

Hector: I live in pembroke pines and I am a hop, skip and jump away from Ft Lauderdale... Basicly 15-20 minutes.
As long as you dont destroy my Flowmaster Exhaust when you remove it to fabricate thew new one, I wouldnt mind swinging by.
You can use my truck for photos of the install and all.

i think that after 03 (04-presnt models) they have 2 cats because my 04 4.7 has 2 cats but my dads 03 4.7 only has 1. and my uncle bought and 04 ram with a hemi and he has 2 cats and if you say your 03 hemi only has 1 then it sounds to me like dodge started putting 2 cats on in 04.

Thanks guys for verfing that im going crazy! I have to find otu what year that hemi was that had 1 cat in it. My buddy at the dealer told me that all teh others have 2 cats so thats good for us.

cup cakes system was a prototype which was cut and welds put together, this system has no welds in it to join pipes (besides the xpipe), everything is done on the machine.

IM yet to get word back from the forums owner on being a vendor. []

What flowmaster setup you have? the system i make uses two 40 series. From what i see the newer ones have two cats so i wont need to make the downpipe portion for it. I can make a real system for you if you want though. Ill give you a good price being that you helping me out to make a hemi setup.

2003, mine only has one on it and I want a true dual setup, especially as a prestage for further modifications.

I'm not trying to cut any one off here, or saying my ex. system is better but dynomax makes a ultra flow muffler that I have on my 06 2500 hemi.

I had the y pipe cut out and 2 ex pipes from the manifold enter one mufler that has two inlets and two out lets that flow a x patern inside the mufler, than the pipes exit out behinf the right rear tire.

I should have had the tail pipes mandrel bent, but I did not, I had to replace a 02 sensor were the y pipe was cut out.

I was never a fan of dyno max, ( turbo 400, super turbo's ect ) but the mufler shop gave me a life time warenty on the mufler and tail pipes, the dynomax is quiet, not a lot louder than stock, at idle or under acceleration, at highway speeds, my truck is a rocket and I do think mileage is better, but my truck is also breaking in.

just anothier option, but you will never ever do wrong with getting rid of the y pipe.

cyclone,

I use magnaflows here at the shop. For trucks however I go with chambered mufflers because they sound more aggressive. I know the muffler yoru talking about that has an x in it. Its a good idea but for sound purposes i prefer to leave it out side of the muffler.
The magnaflows are pretty mellow sounding so I dont like using them in a v8 setup unless its two actualy mufflers. I think they perform better if you ask me but the sound is not there.

Why you needed to swap out the o2? I though cutting after teh cat leaves enough space for a slip fit? Atleast the slt i worked on did.

Oh yeah, you will get about 2mpg extra on the highway.
