TRUE DUAL with X-pipe!! Want to become a vendor, help me out guys.
I wanted to go with 2 muflers side by side, but the mufler guy talked me out of it. The 02 sensor that was replaced was tapped into the Y pipe and the mufler guy could not unscrew it to re use it, so he tapped and installed the new 02 senosr into the pipe that was cut before the y pipe.
I should have waited and shop arround, but I just got impaitant and decided I was going to get a new ex system.
Midas had no clue, and could not find the specfic parts to do a dual ex conversion, every othier shop I went to was busy, my last stop was speedy mulfer and and I was able to show what I wanted done right under the truck..
Every othier dodge Ram I hear on the road has a louder ex than mine, I may not have gone the best route in terms of absoulute performance, but the system I have is a great improvement over stock.
I wanted to run two tail pipe's out and aroound the rear spare and than exit under the rear bumper, but that would have involved more $$$$ and more bends in the pipe that would have added some restriction.
Back pressure, ot loss of it really dosent seem to be an issue, I have the six speed, so my truck is not known for quick performance, but the power is all thier..
On the 2500 hemi, thiers no resonater on the truck, mine is a 06.
I have an 03 quad cab hemi and i was wondering if you could put super 40s on instead of 40s and how much would the whole setup be... i really want true duals
THAT SUX!!!!
My buddy who posts on this site had the same problem. He had less than 1k miles and the o2 sensor was frozen. My 02 frontier also had less than 1k miles when i did the exhaust and it too was frozen.
