i heard you have to use 89 or higher octane. read it in your owners manual

 

Yea you do use 89 octane but that doesnt effect the tick ... i use 89 octane and mine ticks, ive heard that it was a lifter causing the tick and if you run a thicker oil it helps but doesnt solve the problem, but what silentblinder said makes since im curious to see how things turn out! Keep us informed!
