Even though I have the limited slip axels, they lock up as soon as one wheel starts to slip, just a part of the ORP I have
I can do a 10 pound boosted launch and leave 4 nice skid marks

I have punched the cat, re-worked the crushed exhaust where it ties into the collection point to be a single pipe, and put a K&N filter in the stock box. It was like someone gave me a whole new motor. ALOT OF LOW END POWER!! After that i got a super chips 3815 and set it at 87 octain, reprogrammed my speedo for the 37" tires and I now get over 20 mpg when I set the cruise control @55 mph on the highway. 13 mpg around town. Not too shabby. exellent power, better MPG and all with 37" tires. I can't wait to see what will happen with a set of headers.

I have had great success with FP Plus from www.lubecontrol.com. I get a solid 6% increase in mpg with it. It is highly recommended on www.bobistheoilguy.com.

Just a friendly warning. I don't know how you use your truck, but if you're going off-road I would highly suggest you rethink the drop-in K&N filter in the stock airbox. As a result of the design of the Ram air intake system you run a high risk of water ingestion and subsequent hydrolock using the K&N in place of the stock paper filter. I now drive an '07 Power Wagon because my '06 Power Wagon was the victim of a K&N filter hydrolock. The stock paper filter will protect your motor from water intake whereas the K&N filter will allow water to pass right through. I did not realize this when I put the K&N filter into my airbox and it cost me my motor. I just want you to beaware of the danger your motor is in.

Thanks for the heads up. One week after I bought this truck I burried the truck in mud up to the top of the tires. and in water till it came in the doors. I will NEVER do this again. It went through everything just fine but it took for ever to clean up. Not to mention the laundry list of things dodge had to repair.
