Nope, it's a Power Wagon specific manual.

 

Hmm...I'm hoping it's just a "cut and paste to save time" error. I'm thinking we might have to find out what physical differences there are in the 1500 Ram MSD hemi and see if it's on the PW. I'm still going with what Dodge customer service told me...but you never know.

 

Okay, so here's the plan: The next time I bring her in for an oil change, I'm going to complain that I don't think the MDS is working properly, and ask them to fix it under warranty. Then we'll get an answer...

 

Its a typo in your manual. All Heavy Duty Ram trucks do not have the MDS HEMI motor.
