I have 2006 dodge ram 1500 5.7 liter quad cab and what filter should i use. is bosch the oem filter?

 

seven quarts did it for me, and I would use a mobile 1 or wix filter.

 

i found a site but it didnt have my truck on there. it had the srt 10 truck.

 

7 quarts of oil for the Hemi, not sure about the 4.7L

 

Didn't you get an owners manual for your truck? It will list all fluid quantities. My Ram came with a Chrysler oil filter, I replaced it with a Wix.....Chrysler filters are probably made by Champion, in researching them I found the Wix got very good ratings across the board and are as inexpensive as Fram, they are sponsored by Nascar although I seriously doubt they run the same filters.

 

7 quarts here....synthetic mobil1 & mobil1 oil filter..

 

Mobil 1 oil filters are also made by Champion. )
