Sounds relatively quiet, when compared to a Flowmaster 40 or even 50 series.

Maybe... but it's still very deep and throaty and it won't blow you out of the cabin...

So does it decrease the sound we're looking for when we upgrade mufflers and exhaust or is it a selling point that its quiet? Do the tips come in black?

No it does not decrease the sound your looking for it only decreases the cabin drone or resonance. You'll still get that muscle truck sound without the annoying drone. The tips only come in polished stainless. Thanks, Ron
