Default cat back exhaust

Hello again everybody. I am now in the market for a cat back exhaust system. Any ideas on which one. I was thinking Flowmaster but I called them and they don't have a kit available for the mega cab yet. Gibson has several options for the mega cab but I don't know much about them. Dynomax is supposed to get back to me with mega cab applications if any. Volant makes a nice single outlet exhaust but I really don't want to spend $600. How about some advice from the been there done that crowd. 2006 Ram 1500 mega cab 4x4 5.7 HEMI

go to an exhasut shop around where you live, better performance for 1/2 the price.

I would say go for the Gibson if you are looking a throatier sound along with perfomance. I got a stainless dual side exit catback system for an 06 QC 4x4 around $500 from JCWhitney.com. I think they may still have a special going on where they offer free shipping.

...yea if you can find a local shop it's pretty cheap...I had flow 50 delta welded up with dual side exit to chrome rolled tips...all welded for $250 (included install too)...here is what it looks like:

Don't do a flowmaster. I have read stuff from people who say they actually take away power. I guess thats not a big deal if you're only doing it for sound. I will probably be going with a corsa exhaust when I do mine but those are $1000 for a catback.

chefred, why are you blowing out SO much smoke? that does not look too good.

Probably cold, and that's most likely steam.

...yup...it was a very cold morning when i took that vid...i dunno who told you that flows take away power but my truck screams... i wish you could feel the power I feel, I know it's the combination of all my mods...but the flow was definitely one of the mods that got me here...

...you could better spend that $1000.00 and get gears, superchips, headers...HUGE difference as opposed to a better exhaust...I wouldn't know how much better the Corsa would be, i did see it at a truck show and i hear it does well against the infamous drone our exhausts seems to put out...
