Default Vibration issues...

i've got an 03 ram quad sport 4x4, almost 76,000 miles on it, i get a nasty vibration which feels like it's coming from the front drivers side of the truck, it only happens when doing 70-74mph on the highway...

at first i thought it was my tires (265/70/17 Nitto TG's) being worn out, so a few months ago i replaced them with some new BFG AT's 315/70/17, vibration is still there....did look under that side and saw that i have a blown axel boot, would that cause the vibration? I fish the beach a lot, at least 3 times a month, and it's some serious driving through sand, i try to stay out of the water i know that probably has some effect on the torn boot and front axel, but would that be the cause of the vibration?

i was also thinking it might be the driveshaft...

any help would be appreciated...

check your brake rotor for warpage, it may not affect your ride at 35 mph, but at 65-70 it will.

Don't know if this applies to you. Just put in our 2006 for shaking me to the side of the road when you get up to about 75 mph. The dealership said there was a bulletion on it. Something about the steering sleeve.

I had a blown boot on my Jeep. Didn't notice it for a while and it did the same thing. The joint was so bad that the whole half-shaft had to be replaced. That didn't fix it either. Turned out that the wheel bearing got all jacked up from the heat and friction. Gotta keep them bad boys greased up good. About $500 in parts and labor

I just added a 2 inch leveling kit to the front and a 1.5 inch lift to the rear of my 2006 ram quad cab. I just noticed that my truck shakes really bad now but only in 4 wheel drive. Any ideas before I take it to a dealer?

you should find a good alignment shop as the dealer will probably void any warranty due to the lowering .by the way it does look good
