Wind noise
I am getting a LOT of wind noise through both doors, but moreso the passenger door. It does it above 45mph and sounds like it is coming in near the front of the door through the weatherstripping. The doors appear to be lined up correctly (door / fender gap is even), but sometimes you have to give it a lil extra oomph to get them to latch. The weatherstripping appears to be in good condition, no rips or holes. Carfax says the truck hasn't been in an accident and I have found no evidence of one. Anyone experience this problem or know the solution? Thanks
I have the same problem kind of. The tops of doors pull away from the truck on a windy day. It's really bad at 90 but it still does it at 70 or even 65. I think it's just the bad aero dynamics of these trucks.
Take it back to the dealership, they have a new door seal on order for the driver side door. The new seal is tapered right where the door rubs on the seal when opening and closing, by the front quarter panel. I hear its pretty common with our trucks. I have an 05. Supposedly the new seal is tapered where it currently rubs. We will see how it does when it comes in. Took a trip to Indiana from PA, about 9 hrs and it drive me absolutely nuts! Acutally I could tell you for sure if it worked, but the seal they ordered came in yesterday, but it was the inner door seal and not the outer door seal. So now I have to wait for the right one to come in.
have the same issue on my 03 qc. took it to the dealership and they had the body shop realign the door or replace the seal. not positive as i didnt have to pay for it. now it only does it when its extremely windy out

I had the same issue on my 04. When it was in warranty I had them replace and readjust the latch and it still did it.
Last week I put 1/4" rubber tubing between the door seal andthe cab of the truck. Problem solved at all speeds and wind levels.
You will need about 16-19' of the tubing for a quad cab.

My 05 did that... Found out... that if you look at that weather stripping.. depending the on the design.... My 05 doors and weather stripping had a crappy design.. the door.. with enough opens and closes.. acctually ripped the weather stripping.. and made the noise worse... But got it fixed under warranty... Check with dealer... Maybe tthat is your problem...
