Charging system on 03 Quad Cab

4x4 4.7L I noticed the charging indicater seemed a liitle higher then usuall on the ride home this evening. Put a DVM on it and got a reading of 14.6 volts at the battery while running. Does this not seem high? Curious what others gave read if they have checked theirs at all.
