RE: Any "bright" ideas?
Hi Guys New to the forum. I love the topics though. I am looking into the brite box SDC+FLC. Has anyone installed it yet. I also have an '04 Hemi like DAFFYDUK. I do have a friend that is on another forum and they are not to happy with this mod on 2nd gen trucks. They did the jumper mod on the fog light relay. pins 30 and 87. I cant find any info for 3RD gen trucks that are designed differant. SO LONG STORY SHORT. has anyone used the new brite box mod yet. THANKS

RE: Any "bright" ideas?
I love the idea of wiring them thru the tail lights but i would like to have the option of turning them off and still have the parking lights still on. I have been searching the net to find the wire diagrams for the lighting system but no luck yet. I do avionics on corperate A/C and there is always a relay or left over. The diagrams will help me see if I can design a box that will work or I guess I will have to pay for the brite box. Problem is the mod that 20brewcity02 is alluding to would work great if I installed a secondary switch but not sure if I want that yet. And not to sure about overloading the driving light circuit with to many amps.

Check out some of the replacement bulbs from Hella Lighting I got 80/100's in mine with 80's in the fogs. These are the ones that have the blued bulb and they work OK, but when its time to change again, I'm going for the "yellow" version as they may help with the coloring to make the deer stand out better. Oh, yah, I live in Northern Indiana--east of Notre Dame and work up in K-zoo MI. I drive the back roads a lot to work---deer are all over!!!!!
