if dodge made a new lil red express?
yes it would be pretty cool but only if they made it reg cab short bed only and no 4x4 models. make it available with the 6.1 liter hemi and 17 inch wheels on good performance street rubber. and lower it in the back so its level with the front at least. maybe even have a 2-4 drop on it to make it handle better and look fast standing still. oh, and definantly have to keep the stacks. and have wood in the bed.
yeah i agree. only make it in a red shortbed regular cab with stacks (maybe even a stepside??), wood bed, gold lettering on side, lower it a bit, but only make it a 6.1. who knows, maybe they will seeing they are no longer going to make the srt-10, i doubt they will though, it would be really cool though
I saw a Lil Red the other day for sale. Wish I had the money for it.
Lil tid bit: It was the fastest stock american car that year....yes, even faster than the corvette.

Thier was also a version called the Warlock, instead of red, it was black, I'm not sure if the Rd express had the 440 or 360, but it was the fastest north american production made product for the year.
I would never ever buy one, I find short box step side trucks' totaly useless for hauling and general truck stuff, I do admit they look cool, But not for me.

had a 360 in it, i will admit it would not be that great as a truck for doing truck stuff, but for those of us who dont us trucks for "truck" stuff that much it would be a really cool peice to have
Here are a couple of pics of the lil red that I owned for a couple of years. I can tell you anything you want to know about the originals. Mine was the first year, 1978. No cats or air injection. 1979 added both of these for smog reasons and was the last year they were made.
And yes they all had one engine, the 360 V8 w/ A727 trans and high stall converter, stock. It was a pumped up 360 that was really fast! I had a lot of fun with my truck! They made them any color you wanted as long as it was red.
