I have a 05 1500 Hemi,QC,4x4. Not to long ago I put on the Gibson Dual Sport. It exits behind the right rear tire and it sounds and looks great. It was so easy to install. I did it by my self in about an hour or so. It's not to loud but will turn some heads if you want to. Great on the highway to. The price was around $380.00

I've got Flowmasters on mine and I've never had the check engine light come on! I love mine, sweetest sound in the world!

FSU,
How do you not get pulled over with no muffler???? I took mine off for a weekend just fors $hits and giggles, and it sounded good, but it was INSANELY loud, I was sick of it after a day lol.
I left the resonator on so technically the resonator acts as the muffler so its not illegal, and its not overly loud unless i really get on it. And also, im in tallahassee, 90% of the trucks up here have exhaust, and a lot of those have true straight pipes, i guess the cops are just used to it.

I have a FlowMaster exhaust on my 02 1500 and I love the rumble it makes. I haven't had a check engine light come on.

i never understand why when it comes time for exhaust upgrades, first companies people think about are magnaflow and flowmaster. have we all forgotten about Borla?!?!? All the Mopar Performance exhausts are built by borla, i have one on my other truck and it sounds way better then the flowmaster did before, just keep your options open and dont reduce your choices down to just two. I do know that i will be putting a Borla exhaust on my hemi here in the next couple of months when i get the money

Any cat back exhaust you put on will not throw a code. You will only get a code when working on exhaust if you start messing with the cats or exhaust manifolds.

Flows sound better.

Magna will give you slightly better performance.

Did your Gibson system help your mileage at all? I'm considering that as it seems a pretty reasonable 3" system. Also, I recently put on an AEM system and the mileage dropped 2mpg. Has anyone else had similar issues?

Go with a Magnaflow if you want a quieter exhaust that is made for performance and gives you that performance sound. Go with a Flowmaster only if your looking for sound cause thats basically all they are good for. Also I have never heard or seen a catback system throw a code unless some sensor was removed in the process.

Hellbilly1: Go out and buy some electronic cutouts for your exhaust system so you can run open headers whenever you want and be able to close them up when a cop drives by or if you get tired of hearing them constantly. I really dont think you could get louder than that.
