This looks great but it still appears that the front has less space between the top of the tire and wheel well... Although it doesn't appear that way in your pic with the smaller tires. Is this just the angle the pic is shot at or is it truly uneven now?

Default Leveling kit installed

I installed the 2" kit this weekend, the truck looks awesome now. The kit comes with procomp shocks but the length is the same that the oem shocks so I didn't installed them. I'm still looking for the right length shocks. I also installed a 2010 20" wheels and good year tires (285/60/20).

It must be the parking angle and the pic angle, it sits much nicer than that picture.

But tell you what, something is hitting metal to metal hard. I see no signs of wear (without totally dismantalling), but the jarring thud is disconcerning. Happens on initial movement, like something falls into place. My old Toy 4x used to make that sound in a tight turn radius.

Questions remain...

Wow that doesn't sound good!
Definitely let us know if you figure out what it is.
Once I get another pair of 275/70/17 all-terrain t/a's I'm going to install the 2" leveling kit on the front of my 2wd 2004 2500. I will definitely take pics along the way....
I can't stand the "raked" look it has right now.

Shocks won't help much. You added a spacer to compress the springs more. It's going to ride rough.

Ok i know this post is old, but its the only one i can find for the leveling kit. i have a 2004 dodge ram 1500 2wd and i bought the daystar 1.5" leveling spacer. well i just installed them yesterday and i went for drive to day. it looks like the springs are trying to come out of the spacer. correct me if im wrong. spring then spacer then spring isolator?

You should NOT reuse the factory isolator.

The spacer should be installed by itself on top of the coil.
