Install writeup: 2wd coil spacer leveling kit
Yeap.
I'm pretty rough on my truck suspension wise. The roads in Louisiana are very crappy, with huge potholes and 2" recessed drain covers. I have had my spacers in for over a year and a half and had no problems. I never have a proper alignment of course, but seems like the control arms/bushings/etc. are all fine! I'm no mechanic but I've taken it in for maintenance and stuff several times and no problems found
3" block? Holy crap, I have a 3" spacer (I measured it 2 1/2" but the kit was a 3") and a 1.5" block out back gave me a raked look. I wanted that, of course, and a 1" block would give you a level look.
You do understand that a 3" block in the back will make your truck look like a 2wd 2500 with the cummins huh? Haha looks like a lineman in a 4pt stance, about to fall over. And yea you will definitely need new shocks, I honestly need them with just a 1.5" block

ya thats a good point.. i dont mind the stock rake, just would look better if it was a few inches taller.. so thats why i thought if i did my level which will end up being about 2.5-3".. then a block the same size would keep the stance, and just lift the truck up a few inches... but i think im just going to go with a 2" now that i think about it..lol
are you 2wd?
are you 2wd?
yup I am 2wd...get a 1" block and I think you will be happy...I mean, they are so cheap that you could get both and try them out
2"spacer=level
2"spacer+1"block=rake
2 1/2"spacer+1"block=ALMOST level
2 1/2"spacer+1 1/2" block=rake
and don't forget shocks! you can get about 1/2" extra with taller shocks
