Going back to the original post, I was under the impression that the stock spring isolator was not to be replaced. I thought the leveling kit became the new spring isolator. If that is true, it may be the reason the OP actually ended up with a 3" lift instead of the 2" the kit advertised. Someone correct me if I am wrong please. I have one waiting on me at my local UPS pick up office (out of state, my dad is terminally ill and on his deathbed), and install as soon as I get back home. I just want to do it right.

Sorry to hear about your dad

Generally we don't replace the isolators. Some people with 1-1.5" spacers stack them and might wrap themwith bailing wire. I don't like the idea of keeping it, but it is an inch tall so you would get more lift

Depending on the new spacer height but if you are greedy and have to stack em put a few wraps of bailing wire around them

I dont see why those would not work. Just make sure you get an alignment afterwards.

I have an 07 1500, and I have a 1.5in leveling kit, and im wondering what shocks I need. I see that the OP used Procomp ES3000, but it seems there are multiple part numbers for them. Is this the one I need?
