Default Just purchased Superchips

I am waiting on my Superchips Programmer in the mail right now, but I was wondering what yall are setting your 1-2 and 3-4 shift points at. Also, when you set the shift points higher does it rev high during normal driving or just during hard acceleration?
I have heard of people setting the rev limiter at about 6100 rpm, is that about right?

Thanks,
Justin

I myself still have the shift points set at stock (haven't gotten around to playing with them yet), but I would recommend using the 91 performance tune with 93 octane for best performance. I think a lot of members have theirs set at 6050 for 1-2 and 5950 for 2-3 with the 6100 rev limiter. The perfect shift points would truly depend on your performance setup.

Have you noticed a difference in performance without changing the shift points?

I run mine on the performance tune with stock shift points and rev limiter, I don't want to screw with my tranny and I noticed a huge performance difference.

BgBluRam I purchased the Superchip Programmer off of ebay from stripper motorsports. He has a store up in MI, I believe. I am expecting it in the mail within the next week. Paid $350 for it new!

Got mine from Strippermotorsports.com as well. I have my rev limit set at 6150 and have left the shift points alone. 91 perf tune with 91octane and you won't be dissapionted. It made a huge difference to the power as well as the way it drives and shifts!
