RE: HID lights
somerandomguy175, what kind-of set do you have and how do you have them hooked up? directley from the ballast to the hid bulb or from the battery to a relay then to a fuse and etc.... i have a set and it comes with a ton of wiring, it starts at the battery, then goes to a fuse, then goes to a relay that splits to the ballast and another line that connects to your stock socket, then it connects to the ballast and finally to the HiD bulb. Was your set this involved?

RE: HID lights
Shoedork, I have the one that has the battery lead with relay. (I did not hook it up that way)
Somerandomguy, I paid the extra money for HID hi/lo beam....I have not tried the cruise control yet.
I have had the HID for 2 days now and love them. BUT, I noticed one thing this morning. I went to the truck this am. (it is 39 degrees in Florida this am) and the lights did not want to ignite. It would try to ignite, but not completly turn on.
Have any of you had any trouble trying to light them when it is cold outside?!

RE: HID lights
have you had any problems? oh if you wanna get rid of the bulb out indacator you have to buy 2 more 9007 sockets or whatever you want really and splice them into your actual stock socket (the wire that controls the high beams) this way fools your comp.Check outdodge talk . com and goto the 3rd gen forums, then to 3rd gen general tech i belive. Anyway there are a ton of guys there that have the conversion done and have alot of usefull tech on the matter especially getting rid of the lamp out indicator.
