Well, you won't have any warranty on your suspension if you lift it. They'll likely give you a problem with the drive tran to since you'll be changing angles of it.

Bottom line is.... if the aftermarket part you installed causes damage... it won't be covered. Any mods to dealers are a way to get out of a repair for you. I think mainly because they don't know anything but, what their books tell them. Sometimes it really just depends on the service manager

why would you want to lift? wouldn't this make it less stable and more dangerous. i just don't understand wasting the money on lifts.

the whole lift and warrenty is dependant on your dealer and on the cust. dont go and lift a truck then go back with a squeeking complaint that started after the lift. best bet is to wait until the basic 3/36 is up. then lift, if you have a problem after, be nice it goes a long way, pissing and moaning dont. if you wheel it and break somthing it is technicly not covered, but that also depends on the dealer. i go by what my dad told me about racing when i built my chevelle, dont go to the track hoping not to break something, plan on it, if you dont want to spend money to fix it, dont race.

I am dead serious. I just don’t get it. What good does a lift do? It all seems like a waste of money to me.

I also don’t think much of big stereos, wheels, or spashy decal SH** on the side of pickups. Where I come from they are pickups and the more of this stuff added the get closer a pickup gets to being called a truck. And only city folks call them trucks.
