I'm having a local muffler shop install a cat back with a flowmaster 50 and a nice stainless rolled edge tip for $200. Seems like a good price especially when comparing to some of the Borla, Magnaflow and Gibson systems. The tip will be welded on instead of bolt-on which IMO will look mnore finished.

it will save you more time, money and energy if you just go to local muffler shop and get a 3in dual exhuast put into your truck. it shouldnt run you more than $300. plus if you go with a small pipe you might encounter some problems in the long run. just do it right the first time and save in the long run...

I think the 50hd is perfect for what I was looking for. It sounds nice when accelerating from a stop and cruising around town. It's pretty quiet when I ease off the gas through my neighborhood while I'm going home at 11 at night. But you stomp on it and it barks pretty good, not enough to annoy everyone for 5 miles around like the 40 series or glasspacks might. A good muffler for all around driving.
