I cranked the torsion bars on my RAM about a year ago now. I cranked over 1.5" of lift out of them, and I almost NEVER top out my shocks, only if I hit a REALLY big bump that sends the whole front of the truck jumping out of its shoes! I found that it really IMPROVED my ride quality, does not feel stiff at all, and it helped my turning as well. I definately suggest doing this! Then get some 35" tires too!!
