Default Bully dog power pup for HEMI

Anybody running one of these? The write up on it claims the BLY-42590 Power Pup for the 06 HEMI has trans shift point & firmness adjustments. I am interested if the claims are true, plus it is only $395 from Summit! Thanks

The Superchips Flashpaq sets the trans to pre progammed parameters from what I've read on them, that's why I was looking into the BD.

try it out and tell us all what you think. I may be interested in getting rid of my superchips if I hear good things about this BD programmer.

I have been a beta tester for Bully Dog for the last couple of months in addition to being a Superchips owner. The BD has shift point and rev limiter settings for the 04-06 Rams. My personal view after running both of them is that if you are stock or mostly stock then Bullydog is a pretty good choice. If you are modded, like cam or headers, something like that, then I would get the Superchips due to the ability of having custom tunes in the not too distant future.

I have also raced at the track with both BD and the SC. The SC was .1 faster, but with that being said BD is still working on reducing more torque management in the near future.

So which one would you pick if your truck justhas true dual exhaust & a cold air intake? Mine is an '061500 4x4 Sport with 3.92 gears & stock 20"s.

When I talk about modding I am thinking of a cam, headers, heads...things like that.

On Summit's site the BD states +30 hp & the Flashpaq onlyclaims17hp increase, is that rear wheel vs. flywheel measurements?

My two cents on the whole deal are this. When I did the 1/4 mile runs with BD vs. SC there was only a 1/10th of a second difference. With that being said the BD does not shift as firm as the SC so there is definitely time lost there. BD made up the difference somehow, since it's not the torque management reduction or the shifts then it can only mean they are utting out more power. How much?? I don't know. I will be heading to the dyno next week hopefully to do a stock vs. BD vs. SC run to see what the difference is.

Helopilot....Finally someone who is going after data as opposed to "seat of the pants" reaction. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Please post the dyno results when you have a chance.
