Item number: 200072133415I dont know if the otherones i posted earlier come with bezels.....???? these have the plastic ones....
I didn't go for the Mopar 'after the fact' fog kit 'cause it won't be like from the factory; you end up with a cheesy toggle switch that you have to drill a hole in the lower part of your dash. I wanted it to be exactly like factory installed with the switch integrated into the headlight switch (pull out to turn on fogs). So different switch, and you had to tap/solder into the wiring behind one of the headlights and run wiring, and install an additional relay or two. Phooey. Reason service manager gave is that everything nowadays goes through the ecm/computer and it wouldn't recognize the addition of the fogs if run through the original wiring, so the Mopar kit is run like an aftermarket system. Soldering it to a headlamp wire I think keeps you from completely running the fogs separate, thus killing your battery if you forget to turn the toggle off and from using them when brights are activated (and lows go off), just like the factory function.

I heard a dirty little rumor that us '06 and up guys don't have to worry about the fogs turning off when the high beams are on. Anybody confirm or deny this? My fogs won't get here until Thursday but I sure hope this is true. Could really use the extra light.

Thanks for the info. One service writer mentioned that they could put in the correct switch, but I never trust those guys without doing my own research first. I guess it was the service mgr. at one dealer that spooked me about the computer. I had heard about looking for the factory wiring down there and all you needed to do was get just the lights, headlight switch and a jumper wire that goes between the fog lights and then plugs into the existing wiring. Sounds like what you did.
Oh yeah, what about adding it to an '06?

I'm new to the site and noticed you have done a fog light install. I have an 07 Hemi ram I want to do the same thing with. In reading through the Forum you mentioned a harness on the LH frame rail and I have located that on my truck. Just a couple of questions since you have been down this road already.
1) How difficult is it to remove the cover plate on the dash for the switch replacement without scatching it up?
2) Where did you get you fog light kit and do you recall the price of it?
Thanks for your time.

hi just to let you know i found out that after installing mopar fog lights you need to get the ecm programmed to recognize the fog lights then no soldering needed and works as the factory installed ones do, the dealer wants $50.00 though , you need something called a star scanner to do it
dont pay $50 for the dealer to do it... trust me on this one, i have a retarded friend (vehicularly handicapped meaning he tries to do car things but sux at it) who put them in in less than 30 minutes! he did it. so you guys can do it too! trust me!!!
