well i went to car toys because they have the w3 for $99 a piece so i got two.. the guy said he can make me a fiberglass enclosure for the rear storage compartment under the back seat for $300.00.....o yea its a 2006 dodge ram qc..........the bottom of the enclosure was going to be fiberglass and the top where the subs would sit would be wood.....i said ok lets to it......then i need a amp kit which was $12x.xx and a amp......they want to sell me the A1400 for $350.00!!!!so i was looking at about $1000 for everthing.....i wasnt to sure but i agreed they said they could do it tonite i said ok lets to it!! so after work i droped of the truck at 4.30they call me at 7.30........saying that they dont have any wood to make my box!!! im like wtf!! you guys are "pros" and you dont have wood?? and there a homedepot 5 minutes away cant you go buy some?? they said no!! but they asked if they should put the rest of the stuff on the truck....i said no!!! ill be righ tthere to get the truck!!!


i told them ill be there tomorrow to talk to them because im not sure if i want them to do the install anymore!!......so what do you guys think i should do?? should i try and talk them down on the price because they wasted my time and didnt have it done when they said they would? or just dont get anything from them at all? or let them just build the box, and get my own amp and amp kit because i can get a lower price!!!

ask for a discount for your wasted time....go on and on how the wife needed this, kids needed that and you needed your truck but didnt have it and now you have to drop it off again!

they are overpriced to say the least but do good work form what i have seen/experienced

same here man then pull the work exscuse. Say ur on call and are taking risks not having your ride...a risk that now has to be repeated and another well known audio shop (find one in the area that they should know about) would not have done.

Yea, i want a discount if theydont want to, then theycan keep everything but the subs!!! they got me soo mad that they ran out of WOOD!! i mean wtf!! its cartoys!!
