MC doesnt have MDS. the truck is "too heavy for the engine" to disengage 4 cylinders. thats what a dealer told me when we were looking at a HEMI MC.

 

11-13 if its a 4x4 and i have had 9 mpg towing my boat.

 

I had a single cab cheby for years and loved it but wanted something with more room. I got an 07 maga cab and am verry happy with my choice. It took about a week to get adjusted to the length of the truck but I got it down now. I live in the city and have no problem parking in the tight spots here. Yes It could get better MPG but what do you expect out of a truck of its size with no desiel If I could have aforded A CTD I would have gotten one. All in all I think this truck is great.

Wow, there is a ton of mis information here.

Mega Cab's come in 1500, 2500, and 3500 chassis. Hemi, or Cummins in the 3/4 and 1 ton.

No mega cab's come with mds.

 

what the hell, i posted that days ago, and when i just logged in it took me to it....

 

also note that although the mega has 3/4 ton running gear the 1500 mega has a 3/4 ton 10.5" rear end and a 2500 has a 3/4 ton 11.5" rear end.i get about 10 mph city 15 hwy flat ground no head wind 75 mph. hold it to 64 and can get over 17 mph but who drives 65? no mds on any mega. no mds on any 3/4 ton with hemi. my friend has a 4x2 quad cab mds and drives like grandmaw and gets 20 mpg

 

I have 28,000 miles on my '06 Mega Cab 4x4 and I love it. The ride is superb. The space in the back with the seat down is big enough to put down a foam mattress that I had shortened. Wish I had this back when I was 17. LOL.

There is no MDS on my truck.

I get 13 city / 16.5 highway @ 70 mph. (My math)
