I love my 2008 Mega Cab..... they do not come with MDS as they are too heavy - the 1500 is a 2500.

I put mine right next to a 2500 Mega Cab and the only difference was the 2500 had the CTD. I was told to get the 2500 in Hemi was a special order only. Oh and all my suspension parts have been for the 2500.... and my rearend is also the same as the 2500 but maybe cause it an upgrade as well... maybe they differ between 2006-2007-2008?

 

Megas DO NOT have MDS. The only thing I've read on a recurring theme is the air conditioning has trouble keeping up with hot summers and all that cab volume. Wish I had one, but my QC will do for most all my needs.

 

The more the tint on the windows the better the AC will work as well... not only no Mega Cabs have MDS, no 2500's do either, again, too heavy.
