I just got an 07. I have no vibration at all at any speed. This truck handles and tracks better than my 04. I have heard of the problem though. I asked the dealer about putting on a leveling kit. He said it would create vibration. So, I emailed autosprings on ebay to ask them about their leveling kit. They told me it was hit and miss. The truck will either do it or not. The problem does exist. I'm going to keep watching the forum to see what others are saying. I'm holding off on the leveling kitfor now. I emailed Kore Suspensions to see if they are going to build a kit for the 06-up Ram 1500 Quad-Cab 4x4's. They said they're working on it. Kind of a bummer. I thought the new coil-over suspension would be a breeze to lift. Guess not! How com Dodge aftermarket suspension always lag behing the comp? There's already a funtional leveling and lift kit for the 07 Chevy's. I like my Dodge, but, it makes me wonder. P.S. If anyone has level their truck I would appreciate it if you would post your experiences with it. Let me know which kit you used. Thanks!

This recall is for real. I had my '06 4.7l in today 02/28/07. It had died on my wife once and we both noticed the low speed vibration, so I wanted it looked at. What's ironic is that I hadn't even noticed this thread until now. When I pickedthe truckup, the service writer mentioned recall work was done. Well, they couldn't figure out why it died but whatever they did seems to have taken care of the vibration. He said "The recall was just announced Feb 23 or 24 and they haven't even sent mailers out yet". I wish they could diagnose the dieing thing but at least the paper trail has been started. Good luck and get your trucks in there.

Well I had the recall on the front hubs done today and I just got the truck back and man what a difference. No vibration in 4x4 and I didn't know things could be so smooth. I just assumed that most of the feelings I got was from the road. I also noticed that I do not have a clunk when going over the joint cracks in the pavement, or turning unto my driveway throught the road gutter like I used to.
On a side note. I was able to get the dealership to replace the front seats covers with new cloth. The old ones were coming undone in the front clips under the seats. I am going to but scotch gaurd asap to guard against the dreaded white remains after water gets on the seats.
They also replace a front differential seal.
I still love my truck.
I hope you all have the same luck when you get your recall done.
