I feel a vibration when I turn. I also am having vibration because my tires are bad, the dealer says so, but they wont replace them. They want me to go to Goodyear, but Goodyear tells me theres nothing wrong with them I am tired of the crap. I am calling Chrysler in the morning[:'(]

I havent seen too much talk about the other recall:

2005 DODGE RAM 3500 POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
Recall Date: 10/06/2005

Summary:
ON CERTAIN PICKUP TRUCKS EQUIPPED WITH DIESEL ENGINES AND AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS, IN AN ATTEMPT TO EXIT THE VEHICLE QUICKLY WITHOUT SHUTTING OFF THE ENGINE AND REMOVING THE KEY, THE DRIVER MAY INADVERTENTLY LEAVE THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SHIFT CONTROL IN INDICATED REVERSE.

Consequence:
THIS ERROR IS AN UNINTENDED ACTION THAT MAY RESULT IN A LACK OF TRANSMISSION PARK PAWL ENGAGEMENT AND POSSIBLY DELAYED REARWARD MOVEMENT OF THE VEHICLE.

Remedy:
DEALERS WILL PERFORM A SOFTWARE MODIFICATION TO EQUIP THESE VEHICLES WITH AN OUT-OF-PARK ALARM. OWNERS MAY CONTACT DAIMLERCHRYSLER AT 1-800-853-1403.

I had a family member have a close call this past weekend with the transmission slipping into reverse---lots of damage to truck and property.................

Any others with same???????????????????????????????/

I believe I am having the wheel hub problem with my 06 1500. It aggrevates me because I brought to the dealership three weeks ago (before I new about the recall) to have them look into my complaint. Not only did they say there was nothing wrong with it, when I know there is, they never even told me about the recall. I just called and they said it came out back in Feb., so they had to have known. Grrr...what a bunchof clowns.

I took mine in this morning (after a LONG history of highway vibration issues, and 7-8 trips to various dealers) and they called to tell me both front hub bearings are shot. They had little grease in them, worst part is they won't get parts until tomorrow. If it cures the vibration, I'll jump up and down with a stupid grin on my face. If not, I'm trading it in for a Tundra in a year or so (let someone else eat the off-the-lot depreciation).

I just got an 07. I have no vibration at all at any speed. This truck handles and tracks better than my 04. I have heard of the problem though. I asked the dealer about putting on a leveling kit. He said it would create vibration. So, I emailed autosprings on ebay to ask them about their leveling kit. They told me it was hit and miss. The truck will either do it or not. The problem does exist. I'm going to keep watching the forum to see what others are saying. I'm holding off on the leveling kitfor now. I emailed Kore Suspensions to see if they are going to build a kit for the 06-up Ram 1500 Quad-Cab 4x4's. They said they're working on it. Kind of a bummer. I thought the new coil-over suspension would be a breeze to lift. Guess not! How com Dodge aftermarket suspension always lag behing the comp? There's already a funtional leveling and lift kit for the 07 Chevy's. I like my Dodge, but, it makes me wonder. P.S. If anyone has level their truck I would appreciate it if you would post your experiences with it. Let me know which kit you used. Thanks!
I have an 07 quad cab 1500 big horn hemi 4x4 with the TGC "top guns customz" 2.5" leveling kit on mine and have no vibration at all... have not even tried 4x4 yet though... Is the vibration you guys aretalking about in 4wd or 2wd mode?

Most hubs will be covered in rust, so they won't be able to read the stamped code and replace them anyway.
