yah that aint gonna happen, GM is worse off then DCX so the last thing they should be considering if buying another company...DCX's recent job cuts isnt anything we really need to concern ourselves with alot, just a drawback of them not cuttin back on the vehicles they produced and now are way overstocked on...it will all work it's way out and DCX will be back on track within time...just look at what happened to them back in the 70's and 80's when they were on the brink of going under before the caravan's came out and that saved chrysler big time...when DCX releases the challenger sales with go up and this will be just like the thing of the past
Challenger sales wont help Chrysler at all....as they'll be limited in number...not to mention expensive. On top of which, most likely may face gas guzzler taxes......
And Nissan buying Chrysler wouldnt be worse.....that would be what happens if Ford tried to buy them...

i dont know if anyone has forgotten about this or just not known, but chrysler posted 12 profitable quarters in a row before the $1.5 billion loss in the 3rd quarter of last year...now we can thank LaSorda for that for not cutting production of vehicles like everyone else...Mercedes went through the same thing here not long ago, not as big of a loss ($666 million) but still, they made the proper cuts and are profitting once again...just talking about it makes me nervous that chrysler could actually be sold and the last 4 yrs of my life will have been a complete waste of time, but anyways...i think DCX gives chrysler at the very least, 1 more year to see if they rebound...while they say they are commited to helping chrysler return to profitability, i just cant help but wonder if they hope they dont so they can sell them and go their own way...i dunno, not something i really want to think about while i'm graduating college in may and trying to get a job with chrysler lol
