Gotta love the 4lo...
Got about 8-10 inches of snow here earlier this week and last night I found a parking lot that wasnt plowed and decided to try the 4lo. Got to the edge of it put her in neutral then 4lo then drive then let off the brake and started going through the snow like it was nothing. Never hit the gas just idling through it. Remember this isnt fluffy snow this is hard snow that some people have tried to drive through allready. Got to a 3 foot drift and it got on top of it but had to give her a little gas to get over it.[sm=GrowUp.gif]

When I lived in missouri we had a steep *** gravel driveway and when it would snow alot of times it would be covered in ice or when it rained hard it would wash out so I got to use 4lo quite a bit. I remember a few times my mom calling me from the bottom of the driveway because her 4wd durango couldn't make it up and I had to tow her up it. My ram also had a posi and 33's so I had a little better traction than her.

I have been dieing to use 4 lo, but haven't found any opportunities to use it yet =(. There has been no snowfall accumulation here on the island, just ice =(. Even on the ice I didn't need it.

I feel kinda left out as I dont even know how to get the truck into 4lo. I turn the ****, and the indicator flashes, but it never engages. I am in park, just waiting, and nothing. Am I doing something wrong? Going into 4hi only takes 5 seconds.
