Default With 9 inches of lift...

Could I fit 40" tires on my HEMI, or would 37s or 38s be as big as I could go??? I'm going to put a 6" Fabtech lift on, plus a 3" body. If anybody thinks that this is a bad idea, please let me know! I don't know that much about lifts!!! Any info will be appreciated!

Good gracious man! Make sure, whatever you do, get the lower gears. 4.56 are good. 4.88's in your big *** application.

Also, I've heard of guys throwing 37's on their Rams with 6" of lift. Not sure just how big you could go, but I'm thinking you could go bigger than that with 9". If you are planning on rock crawling, don't forget to figure in how much axle flex you're gonna get there. Too big of tires and you'll rub on the trail.

Also I'm going to be running an 18x10 rim if that's wide enough for the tires, which are 13.5 or 15.5-I haven't decided which yet. I'm thinking if I go with the 15.5 wide, I'll need a wider rim. Oh BTW who makes the best gears?? Where can I find them??

Do you plan to do a 1ton swap? I would if I were you as the Chrysler 9.25 doesn't really like anything over a 35 inch tire. Aso for the gears Motive, Yukon and Richmond are all good brands. I have found the best prices at www.3rdstrike.biz and www.ring-pinion.com also has some good deals.

GO BIG OR GO HOME!!! you heard me! HaHaHa* you honestly have to look at ratio's and the geometry of the suspension, you might hit with the 40" tires with that type of lift, and i don't mean when you turn, but when you hit a bump= bye bye fenders!

Doing a one ton swap in the back would be very easy, All you need is a dana 70 out of a dodge ram 2500 diesel. The front will be tricky however as we have IFS.
