I had trouble with smooth starts when i got my truck last year, had to get used to the pedal sensativity. If its not that i don't know, don't have a lot of mechanical knowledge.

If you list your specs in greater detail I am sure someone will be able to help you.

P.S. Not everyone is as rude as squatchie16

~HELP IS ON THE WAY~
Common problem that has been with dodge all these years and not just with their line of cars has been their "Injectors"! Run a good "Injector" cleaner through your tank, if you have the 24 gallon one get two bottles of the cleaner, if 34 gallon tank, get three.... This should fix the problem... For some reason back in 01 dodge had a problem with some cars "NOT ALL CARS/TRUCKS" with that same problem... It isn't a recall, its a Bulletin.... but to avoid any other problems with this, get the cleaner and check your air filter....
~problem (hopefully) solved~

I think the problem you are experiencing is due to the drive-by-wire system. I noticed this when I first got my 05. It took some time to get used to, as I had never drove a drive-by-wire car on a regular bassis.

It's not so much as letting off the brake and gasing it that it hesitates it's more like if I just let off the brake a little and start rolling to go it hesitates...If I just let off the brake and get on the gas it's fine...nature of the truck itself??? Feels like ABS is kicking in a little?
