HI, I went to order my truck Laramie 1500 mineral grey 4x4

options: sunroof, on demand transfer case, floormats, bug guard, u-connect, tow pkg, 20's, one or two more other items.

The question I have is why can you not get the 34 gal fuel tank with a sunroof, or a protection pkg. I can maybe so why i can't get the side air bags. Once you select the sunroof you can't get the others.

 

Well the side air bags are partially installed in the same area that the sunroof is. I chose neither. I believe that the 34 gal tank is available.

 

Don't know about the sunroof/34 gal combo thing.

But I thought I'd chime in and say I would forego the factory 20s, and get an aftermarket 20. I order the Mopar 20s as well, and ended up having to fight to get my money back for them (finally did) because they have no backspacing (offset) and the tires I wanted required offset. Just thought, if you ever plan to run bigger tires (as in wider) you will need different wheels anyway, and aftermarkets like American Racing and the like are a lot cheaper (and in my opinion better looking) than the Mopars anyway.

I'm not sure on the sunroof/ 34 gal deal. I know that my 05 has the Big Horn package. I have a sun roof, and only a 26 gal tank.

I'm not up on these new trucks and there trim packages. Can someone explain what the Big Horn includes?

You will need a 34gal tank with the Hemi.

 

I've got the 34 gal. tank and sunroof on my fully optioned QC05' Laramie - don't know what they did for 06' & 07 ?

 

Its because they sunroof motor takes up room by the gas tank duhh. haha, I seriously have no clue why those two cant go together. I have the 26 gallon in my hemi and normal driving it doesnt even last me 7 days.
