Yea, im smart. Took mine off with goo gone, adhesive remover and a razor blade to get it close. Razor blade left some nice marks....lucky i got an uncle with a body shop, cant even see it now. But hell it was a dumb move on my part. My fingernails were worn to the bone trying to scrape that god forsaken goop off my truck. IT sucks but its worth it in the end. Dont know of any other way to go about it other than adhesive removers and heat.

Ha, I've used a razor blade on my tailgate. Thought I was doing pretty good till I wipe everything clean. It revealed tiny scratches, but are hardly noticable. Razor........what the hell was I thinking.

well the plastic putty knife helped on one side of the truck

the other side is too damp from goo-gone / wd40 mix

i think im about to call it a night - holy **** i did not know it was gonna be this big of a chore. Never seen anyone really bitch about the process b4.

im either a idiot and didnt do this right, or the foam is a true Pain in the ***.

blah, im sure ill have scratches too, what a dumb fkN move. when this project is over, we'll see if it was worth it.

Thx, and keep the suggestions coming, as tommorrow i will finish this process.

when i removed my badges, i used a plastic window scraper..one like you use to apply window tint and i used a heat gun....heat up the foam and then use your thumb to "roll" it and it should come off much easier

this process worked very well for me...might give it a try

I've always used lots of automotive safe adhesive remover and a microfiber cloth. Rub until it's gone.

yeah, just get anything with a sharp edge, but make sure its plastic, i just used a random peice of plastic i found that had a flat, sharp edge, and i got off my 4x4, SLT and RAM 1500 badges off in about an hour.
