no wonder Toyota is best selling!!!!!
What a year 2 trucks and both are piles of junk. bought Ford F-150 in Feb'06 and had nothing but problems, ( 2 computer modules, Transmission, and paint job) in under 36,000 miles. decided Ford sucked, so in Dec.'06 I went back to Dodge. Bought an 04 1500 Laramie 4x4 QC with 12k miles. had truck 2 weeks and installed K&N CAI and Flowmaster American Thunder Cat Backs. Truck has run like crap since then, boggs down at about 50 mph and 0 throttle response, I have to push pedal until it responds and it jumps to almost 6k on tach ( OUCH !!). I have taken truck to 2 different dealers, ( I bought private sale) and after they road test it they say "somethings not right", so they plug it in and then tell me "computer says its fine, don't know what to tell you". You ask for a mechanic and you get freakin Bill Gates. The last mechanic said that it could be the fact that I have 20" wheels, (which I hate) or that I have AWD and that I "will have to live with the loss of Power". Thats BS what happened to Quality Trucks, Reliability and American Made Pride. What $30 / per hour to work at the factory isn't enough to turn out good quality . The new Tundra is looking better every day.

AWD on a Ram? do they even offer that? I know obviously they have 4wd...
And if you are going over 50mph in "4wd", that is not good for the truck... Im not sure what transfer case you have though. To me it sounds like you are beating on the truck.

well I knew the history on this truck, I bought it from the pastor of my church ( seriously) and he got rid of it cause of gas prices and he never actually hauled anything in it. And yes it does have AWD Dodge Mechanic says that its the first one he has ever seen.

Did you ever stop and think that maybe it has something to do with the fact you changed the exaust and it could be messing up the emissions (O2 sensors)? Or the intake has done something to the computer? Really, you cant beat up on a truck because you mod it and then have problems, im not saying you are a jackass or anything, I am not meaning this in a negative tone, but stop and look at the stuff you have done to the truck. If it was not doing it before, it I dunno, MIGHT have something to do with the work you have done? Also, if it is not that, check to see that you dont have a fuel problem, it sounds like you are not getting enough fuel.

its cool JR. The computer is good dealer flashed it said every thing is fine. the fuel thing though was a concern started running 93 octane. but wouldn't a fuel problem be noticable through out the 0 to 60 range. When it boggs down also it sounds like an exhaust leak/ spark knock
