RE: which is prefered most?
Regular cab short bed. Best mileage, fastest and they look the best. I don't need a quad cab since I'm only 19 and I don't need a long bed since I only haul dirtbikes and gear. I don't tow and I don't need 4 wheel drive since I live in Las Vegas and we only get about 4 inchs of rain a year and when it snows it's less than half an inch and it's gone when the sun comes out. Next truck I buy will be a quad cab 4x4 cummins though. I just don't think the mega cabs look that good any more. I used to like them...but not now.

I went QC because it fits my lifestyle the best. As it is right now, I have a hard time finding parking away from the crowd with my 1500 QC so it won't get and dents or scratches. I can only imagine the stress I would be in everyday trying topark a 3500 MegaCab here in Miami.

I am 6'5' and I also have a family. We can all ride comfortably no matter where we are going. My son has his permit and is catching up to be close to my size and when he drives and I sit in the back i am very comfortable. It has ample storage and again VERY roomy. The quad cab rear seats are not even close to the room in the rear of fords or chevys, and they deffinantly dont compare to the megacab. And parking isnt any different than a longbed quadcab. I travel all over texas with mine, houston, dallas and everywhere in between and I sometimes have to park a little farther away from the door, but a little excersise never hurts. A truck is made to be big, so go big or go home

I chose quad cab simply because I ahve a wife and she has a new car which equals car payment. I would live to get a 3500 mega ctd 4x4. That would be sweet, Actually went to trade my truck in few weeks ago for a 2007 mega 2500 ctd, the dealer only wanted to pay my truck off, I put $14000.00 down and owe less then 17,000.00 currently. I am still driving the 1500.
