I understand your point on the channel audio. It is a good one and probably get a 4ch amp.
As far as the sub is concerned. I have this box and it sounds thumpy.

HA HA thats funny. JLs have always been great for me, Cerwin Vegas used to be an awesome *** speaker way back when, Im not familiar with them now though.

Ok, so another question and excuse my ignorance in the whole speaker subject. I have an amp that pushes 55w RMS x 4 @ 4ohms and I have speakers/subwoofers that are rated 150w RMS @ 4ohms. How good of a sound can I expect from the speaker if I am only pushing a third of its norm?
