tire shine making truck dirty
I have used three diffrent tire shine products. Each one is spinning of the tire covering the side of my truck in black oil specs. I follow the directions, I even let it dry longer and wipe it with a rag to get off extra. Whats the deal?
Be careful not to use that stuff TOO often, originally it was intended for people who go to car shows it will cause your rubber to start cracking prematurely if you over use it.
Not sure what to tell you a bout the spraying, hope you have a couple of good coats of wax though.

when i use the tire shine, i use Meguiars (sp?) and then let the truck sit a a couple hrs before i drive it and it never spins off on mine...try using the kind that has 3 different spray patterns and see if that kind works better for ya
I also use McGuire's Insane Shine...spray can. It gives a longer-lasting shine than any other product I have used, and have never had any spin off onto the body of my truck.
ive got through em all! the one ive found that actually works is "shining monkey no spit tire shine" (shining monkey is the company, yes weird name). the only down side is this shine isnt the "wettest" if you will. but it sure doesnt get all over your wheels and fenders like all the others.
