Im lookin to get an intake on my 2007 dodge ram 5.7. i have always gone with AEM brute force intake. I have looked up this new product called "HEMI RAM AIR", its a true ram air set-up. you can look it up at www.vararam.com. Does anyone have this installed on there truck or know if its a good or bad buy?
stay out of deep puddles, with that low mounted intake you could suck an engine full of water and hydrocylinder resulting in a bent or broken rod and or crank

It is accepted in drag racing
and in Formula 1 racing
that for an air inlet scoop
to work properly as a ram air intake
the opening to the scoop needs to
rise at least 6-12 inches above
any thing below it.
Cowl induction hoods that don't
have this 'high rise' don't work very well
and if for styling purposes you won't have one
you need to have a
"NACA duct" that looks like a T
opening at the front of the hood
to draw in the air
like is presently on the front of the C6 Corvette
and like prior years Vipers had.
