I don't have it off hand but just tell them of the problem and you know it is an RRT item. They will jump on it for you. Expect them to have to order the part too. You might as well have them check for all known RRT's also. Including the tail gate spoiler.....Originally Posted by Stihlpro

Because they are not recalls. They are RRTs and Service Bulletins. A Service Bulletin is used to help a tech diagnose a problem. A RRT (Rapid Response Transmittal) is a courtesy item. When you have your truck in for any service, they can perform the RRTs applicable. Usually they are small updates to eliminate or correct a potential issue providing the customer with a better overall ownership experience with their vehicle. They also are applied to the production run so trucks built after a certain date will already of had the update done at the factory.Originally Posted by LUBINATOR
Why aren't any of these recalls listed on Dodge's site? Bit wierd.
There is a genuine recall though for the wiper motor and that is on the Dodge site. A very low number of early 09's were in that group.

I went to the dealer to get the Services done and I was told there are two RRT for my truck. I gonna get them done this week cause I didn't have time to wait for them, anyways, the RRT are 09-096(I Believe is to re-seal the third break light) and 09-095 ( Believe is for the door seals or it might be other way around)

Was in for a free oil change today. They had to RRTs listed on the sheet when I left.

Here is RRT 10-009.

SUBJECT: RAPID RESPONSE TRANSMITTAL / SERVICE ACTION #10-009
Engine Ticking Sound In Cold Temperatures
INVOLVED VEHICLES:
2009 (DC) Ram Truck (3500 Chassis Cab) (Includes International Markets)
2009 (DH) Ram Truck (1500/2500 Pick Up) (Includes International Markets)
2009 (DS) Ram Truck (1500) (Includes International Markets)
2009 (DX) Ram Truck (Mexico) (Includes International Markets)
NOTE: This Service Action affects both sold and unsold vehicles.
DISCUSSION:
A number of models built before August 14, 2009 (MDH 0814XX) equipped with a 5.7L engine (Sales code EZC or EZD or EZH) may have been built with an engine that may emit a ticking sound heard at start-up in cold ambient temperatures. This sound could be less noticeable as the engine warms to normal operating temperature. This condition may be caused by broken or loose manifold bolts for cylinders # 7 and # 8. Dealers are required to replace both sets of exhaust manifold bolts for cylinders # 7 and # 8 with new stainless steel higher strength bolts.
