You can get the intake with hood. I want to chrome the grill in the hood, but in NY State because of laws there aren’t any shops that do it any more. Any body know of a place near the state line(VT,MA,CT), I live near Albany,NY.

Wow. Did you have them paint it or did you get a local shop to do it?

Did you sell the original hood? Did it offset this purchase by a lot?

The hood is manufactured by APM Automotive and you can find them on the web but you cannot buy it directly from them. A number of auto parts sites on the web sell it. I bought mine from Auto Anything. You can save about $ 50.00 because they sell it supposedly with free shipping but they just add it to the cost. It actually comes out cheaper than some of the other sites because the hood is cheaper but when you add the shipping it is more than Auto Anything.

I don’t know for sure if the volant intake will work but if it’s in the same position of the original air filter it may need some modification.

I had a local auto body shop paint it because you will save a little bit of money (about $100.00). It cost me $400.00 for the painted hood and have it installed.

No I did not sell my hood yet, but it is for sale. A dealer states it retails for $500.00 but I am looking to get $ 350.00. My total cost start to finish was $ 1500.00.
