Default more power, better mileage, more upgrades

It has more towing power, I just returned from a 400 mile trip and did 75 cruise the wholoe way. Had 20.3 on the way and 19.7 on the way back. My buddies 4.7 is lucky to get 18 with a tailwind. Granted mine is not stock and the tune has helped with the mileage. If you are into upgrades there is definitely more out there for the 5.7

I'm very happy with the hemi BTW, a lot more power.

Love my TRX - Did anyone see the September issue of 4wheeler mag, the TRX made the top 10 best 4x4 vehicles...

the 09's had the updated hemi with 390 HP. Just had to have one in a monotone - inside and out - sport with the 3.92's.

I went with the hemi for several reasons. I'd never owned one before, the milage was almost the same as the 4.7 but way more hp/torque, free when I bought the truck, and last but not least- Dude, it's a frickin' HEMI! I love this truck and the hemi. Went to Dallas last Wed to have surgery on my back and averaged 20.8mpg on the way up, 18.7mpg over the whole trip. Oh, just outside of Georgtown, was cruisin at about 77mph and my MDS light was on. Just can't beat it with a stick or a chevy or a ford or etc, etc. Jeff.

Not sure why they even offer the 4.7.

The HEMI rules...

Coming from an 02 Sierra, with the (285hp) 5.3l. The over 100hp increase with little to no change in gas mileage, which I have now proven over the first 6 tanks that the Hemi is capable of being MORE fuel efficient then my old truck.

That is what had me looking at the Ram, the Sport was the model I wanted so it was a a non-option for me.

Couldn't be happier, all I wish now is that my wife had a Hemi in her Jeep GC, and not the 3.7l
